What is Google Ads?

Google Ads is Google’s PPC advertising platform. It can be used to create advertisements, bid on specific keywords, and determine how much you are willing to pay for every click on your ad.

You just have to pay when a user clicks on your ad. It doesn’t matter how many times it is displayed or how many people see it. It also lets you set daily and monthly budgets on a campaign-by-campaign basis.

Google generated nearly $150 billion from advertising revenue in 2021, which is a massive increase of over $68 billion from just 5 years ago.

This influx of spending from advertisers creates more competition for search terms and cost-per-clicks (CPCs) are now skyrocketing.
